IQ Green Solutions (Pty) Ltd, is a company that has invested in the research of Dr Gilbert Hinze and his ECA applications. ECA is a state of the art water disinfection technology with applications for a cleaner environment for water treatment industries, food industries, livestock industries, medical and health solutions as well as replacement for antibiotics in some cases.
HOW ARE OUR IQ GREEN SOLUTIONS PRODUCED?
IQ Green Solutions uses ECA Technology to produce all our products with state of the art machinery.
ECA refers to Electro Chemical Activation: a process whereby Meta stable solutions are produced which have undergone treatment from an electrode.
The System uses only water, salt and electricity.
A brine solution is fed through a patented cell in our machinery. Inside the cell, the brine solution is activated with an electrical charge and separated producing two solutions:
Ano-Lyte™ and Catho-Lyte™
WHAT IS ANO-LYTE?
Ano-LyteTM is the world’s most effective NON CHEMICAL DISINFECTANT available and is used to eliminate all types of bacteria, micro-bacteria, viruses, fungi, spores and microbial toxins. There are no hazardous compounds in composition and is 100% safe to use virtually anywhere.
The active ingredient responsible for broad spectrum capabilities is Hypochlorous acid (HOCl) and cannot exist through conventional chemical reactions due to its formation within a narrow pH range (4,5-6,5). HOCl is a weak acid produced by white blood cells, which is naturally found in our immune system when combating harmful pathogens which tend to make us sick. It’s nature’s own disinfectant.
Hypochlorous acid has a proven effect in combating bacteria, viruses, spoors and fungi. This attacks and destroys the protein in the microorganism. It is also proven that it’s very effective against (MRSA) multi-resistant bacteria, the world’s biggest problem.
The highest content of hypochlorous acid is achieved when the solution maintains a neutral pH level of between 6 and 7. At IQ ECA, we are using a refined system in which the pH levels are controlled with great accuracy. This guarantees a continuously high content of hypochlorous acid while simultaneously ensuring that the volume of salt in the solution is kept low. A high level of hypochlorous acid also ensures low content of less desirable chlorine compounds.
WHAT IS CATHO-LYTE?
As a byproduct in the process of producing Ano-Lyte, a sodium based detergent called Catho-LyteTM is also produced.
Catho-LyteTM is a natural, green and environmentally friendly detergent that can be used for general cleaning of equipment, surfaces and textiles. It is very effective in solving proteins and fat.
The active ingredient is sodium hydroxide (NaOH) which is the chemical equivalent of a caustic soda, yet it is completely natural.
